Kayla Carrothers, DDS

Meet Dr. Carrothers

Hi! I am Kayla Carrothers, DDS, and I grew up in Walker, Iowa. I graduated from North Linn High School in 2015. After high school, I attended the University of Iowa and earned my BS in Human Physiology in 2019. Postgrad I attended the University of Iowa College of Dentistry, where I received my DDS in 2023.

Since I was young, I always knew I wanted to pursue a career in dentistry. I have always loved working with people, working with my hands, and I enjoy the challenge that comes along with making each treatment plan specific to the individual.

In dental school, you spend your last two years in the clinic working with patients and honing in on your skills. It is the most rewarding feeling knowing you are helping someone in pain or giving them their smile back!

I am so excited to continue to meet and care for patients at Boeding, Speltz & Wernimont Family Dentistry. I do not take for granted the trust my patients give me in providing their dental care, and I will always strive to provide the best care possible.

When not at work, I enjoy hanging out with friends and family, traveling, going to concerts, reading, and long walks. I’m always on the go!
